Alice In Chains Bassist Mike Starr Dies At 44
The original bassist for Grunge band Alice In Chains died yesterday, in Salt Lake City. Starr played for Alice in Chains on their first four albums, but left in 1993. The band wanted to keep touring, but Starr "just wanted to go back home." He was kicked out due to his drug use. Coincidentally, Layne Staley, the singer of Alice in Chains, died in 2002 due to an overdose. Starr also appeard on VH1's Celebrity Rehab. His cause of death is currently unknown.

i dont think anyone can prevent it. its not something i lose sleep over. if someone's going to bting a gun and start shooting kids in the commons, what's stopping them?
generally, we're doing what we can do. so much bullying is electronic, and the bullying in class is what we can't see. adolescents are always going to mess around with each other, and tease each other. but kids can always go to someone.
mental illness. someone who isnt getting treated and diagnosed is so unpredictable. there usually isnt a big red light.
i was sad, didnt feel less safe. it's like 9/11, like an isolated incident. whats more scary is the uprising of shootings after that, with copy-cat kids.
